“No matter how good things are, there will always be solitary nights you spend in your bedroom, in a car, or in a party full of your closest friends when it feels like the walls are caving in.”—Dan Campbell (via wordsthat-speak)
“He’s not perfect. You aren’t either, and the two of you will never be perfect. But if he can make you laugh at least once, causes you to think twice, and if he admits to being human and making mistakes, hold onto him and give him the most you can. He isn’t going to quote poetry, he’s not thinking about you every moment, but he will give you a part of him that he knows you could break. Don’t hurt him, don’t change him, and don’t expect for more than he can give. Don’t analyze. Smile when he makes you happy, yell when he makes you mad, and miss him when he’s not there. Love hard when there is love to be had. Because perfect guys don’t exist, but there’s always one guy that is perfect for you.”—Bob Marley (via dissapolnted)
Falling away from Him feels heavy. It weighs down until even getting out of bed is a struggle, let alone standing for prayer. The believers are light, as if their bodies are suspended from heaven. They walk lightly upon the earth, speak softly, and hardly leave a trace. Even when their time comes and we carry their bodies to the grave, it is as if someone else is holding all their weight.
“We need women who are so strong they can be gentle, so educated they can be humble, so fierce they can be compassionate, so passionate they can be rational, and so disciplined they can be free.”—Kavita Ramdas (via redheadnonsense)
